This Saturday May 23 at 5:00 and 6:40 PM the ACME Screening Room on South Main Street in Lambertville will continue its Green Film Series with a presentation of “FLOW: For the Love of Water”. The documentary explores global problems with water resources, including dwindling supplies and privatization. The film is not rated, lasts 93 minutes, and was released in 2008.
The 6:40 screening will be followed by a discussion led by guest speaker Jim Waltman, Executive Director of the Stony Brook Millstone Watershed Association, on the status of our local water supply, and how preservation of local resources impacts the global water supply.
A “Take Back the Tap: Taste Test Challenge” will be held in the ACME lobby. Participants will be asked to test if can tell the difference between bottled water and tap. Sponsored by the New Hope – Solebury High School Environmental Club.
